A drink-driver who left an OnlyFans model unable to work after mowing her down in a horror hit-and-run has avoided jail.
Finley Taylor, 27, was left with shocking injuries after being sent flying while out walking her dog in sleepy Ammanford, Wales.
Emily Down, also 27, careered into the adult worker while more than double the alcohol limit – temporarily leaving her unable to record videos.
Finley’s cuts and bruises have now started to heal and she has just resumed making content for her followers.
But the victim has slammed the woman who hurt her – and said she “barely faced justice”.
Down appeared in court on Thursday and admitted three charges, for which she was disqualified from driving, fined and given a community order.
Grim pictures taken in the wake of the incident showed the extent of Finley’s wounds, which she says have left her with both physical and mental scars.
And she said after the hearing at Llanelli magistrates’ court: “The convictions she has received are better than I expected her to get. But it didn’t seem to matter to her.
“She got up and walked away happily, whilst I still have to use my cane to get around. She broke me that night, and has barely faced justice.”
Down admitted driving while over the limit, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and failing to stop after an accident.
She received a 28-month driving ban, a 24-month community order, has been ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work and made to pay £333.
And Finley claimed: “When my personal statement was read out, she showed no emotion when she heard that I had begged the people helping me that night to let me die, or to just kill me to end the pain.
“There was no emotion when she heard that in that moment I wished she had just killed me. No emotion.
“Her defence lawyer said that she wanted to apologise to me. No apology was put forward or attempted.”
Finley had been out walking with her husband Eddie, 28, when she was hit by Down’s white Citroen DS3 on May 30.
The court was told that the driver, of Ammanford, blew 92 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Describing the crash in the days after, Finley told the Mirror: “I saw the car as it hit me. I tried to get up but my husband told me to lie down.
“I looked up at him, and he looked down at me and kissed me. I said ‘I love you, don’t ever forget how much I love you’.”
Both Finley and Eddie – who was largely unhurt in the crash – had left home without their phones, meaning they could not dial 999.
But the incident happened outside a rugby club, from which members came rushing out to help.
Finley says that she has recently been able to start recording some videos for her OnlyFans site again, after her injuries made filming impossible for a while.
But she added: “I did make some more content last week, hoping to make more soon! I sort of have to see how I am. I’m not doing custom request or couples’ content yet though.”
